I tried to change map coordinates to use all map... but

I seems that sectors are fine, just testmap.jpg is set as default....
so what are the requirements for .jpg file if I want to use  BattleArea 8500 8500 350000 300000 10000..

Maybe There is one already done???

all map!!??  :o ... well... not, sorry, but is not done already ... you must to make and set as default  :P

hi Vogler!

the whole map! relax man before pushing the limits of the sim and this campaing. If you take a look at the campaing we are playing right now the map area is large enough for a good amount of human pilots. We've been playing 60-80 pilots every week and is fine, taking into account that interception is very hard. In a very large map interception (so dogfight) will be almost impossible and the game play can get frustrating.

I recomend you to start with a simple case, learn the in's and outs and then push it further. HRCODWAR is tested but their limits have not been pushed away this adds to a non suported and not fully polished sim so undesired results may arise.

So what I if I want to use different area of the map?
I presume same scaling of .jpeg file needs to be done... what is current scale of it???

Have you read this? http://www.halconesrojos.com/hrcodwar/en/web-installation , mainly "THE MAP AND THE BATTLE AREA" section.

The scale of the jpeg doesn't matter, choose one you like, the script of the web make the jpg more large or little dynamically using javascript.

The website read the values:

$CFG_MAPA_COORD_INI_X Battle Area initial "x axis" coordinates. It is the highlighted value in the BattleArea line in the hrcodwar.mis
for example: BattleArea 200000 180000 130000 90000 2500
$CFG_MAPA_COORD_INI_Y Battle Area initial "y axis" coordinates. It is the highlighted value in:
ej: BattleArea 200000 180000 130000 90000 2500
$CFG_MAPA_COORD_FIN_X Battle Area ending "x axis" coordinates, are the sum of CFG_MAPA_COORD_INI_X and the highlighted value in:
ej: BattleArea 200000 180000 130000 90000 2500
$CFG_MAPA_COORD_FIN_Y Battle Area ending "y axis" coordinates, are the sum of CFG_MAPA_COORD_INI_Y and the highlighted value in:
ej: BattleArea 200000 180000 130000 90000 2500
$CFG_MAPA_LONG_SECTOR It is the length of a single sector, as defined in the battle area, set by the value:
ej: BattleArea 200000 180000 130000 90000 2500

And the height and width of the jpg, and then the script adjust the position of the units and infrastructure in map, In fact, you can use any jpg ... but obviously, it's more interesting a map of the battle area ;D .

Here, we have a negative point of the system, the website work with ONE ONLY jpg, thats is, every hit and refresh the website need load a jpg, for this reason it's convenient that map (jpg) will not to much large (in kilobytes not in real size), for minimize the load times and bandwidth consumed.

Make the map of the campaign (jpg) it's easy but laborious, and you need some experience with graphic editor programs.
